The lineage of Raga Boyz goes back to Ustad kaluji, (darbar gayake of Maharaja Bhupindar Sing) followed by his sons, and the greatest singers of there era, ustad General Ali Baksh and ustad Barey Fateh Ali Khan. Both awarded with the title of general and colonel of music. The legacy of the this family continued with descendants, and the pioneers of the modern classical singing, ustad Aashiq Ali Khan, ustad Akhtar Hussain Khan and his sons ustad Amanat Ali khan, ustad Fateh Ali Khan and living legend ustad Hamid Ali Khan. The band raga boyz is the seventh generation of this family. This family won 5 National Award pride of performance and 2 "Sitara-e-Imtiaz". Sitara-e-Imtiaz is a biggest award of Pakistan.
The tedious sessions of riyaz and phenomenal creativity chiseled the voices that shot Raga Boyz into the lime light. The journey so far is full of learning. As the 7 th generation of Patiala ’s royal splendors beacons, the raga boyz carry on the legacy. This brother quadrant band is the transformation of legacy into today’s modern singing, while maintaining their forefather’s great contribution in eastern music. So far the band has already performed and gain love from there fans all around the globe. Winning various titles n competitions internationally.
